The TIFF Lightbox presents Designing 007: 50 Years of Bond Style, an exhibit that will surely make for a good date idea and well-spent Sunday afternoon with friends alike, as well as a welcomed addition for the YP male after last year’s female-infused Grace Kelly exhibit. To celebrate the opening, in true TIFF style, the Lightbox will roll out the red carpet for a glamorous evening of distinctively flamboyant British luxury, where tuxedo clad gents and femmes fatale brush shoulders with a who’s who of Toronto’s film, society and business elite.
Guests will enjoy an evening of intrigue and action at a top-tier event in Bond style, filled with live musical performances, a casino, exotic hors d’oeuvres, martinis and conversation-evoking art installations.
For the ultimate experience, the MI6 Reception at 7:30pm in the exclusive MI6 lounge on the 3rd floor will see guests will mix and mingle while they indulge in Oliver and Bonacini special culinary offerings before taking in a private in-cinema presentation. These guests will then have the exclusive opportunity to be first to explore the exhibition before other guests arrive. The MI6 Reception is $500 per ticket.
For those who the $500 price tag is out of reach, they can join in the action at 9:00pm for The 007 After Party
($160 per ticket for non-members and $150 per ticket for members). Get a group of clients or friends together for a ticket package, 12 tickets for the price of 10, at $1,600.
Proceeds from this commemorative event will support film programs and education initiatives at TIFF. As such, TIFF will offer a charitable tax receipt in the maximum allowable amount for each ticket purchase.
