2013 Notable New Year’s Eve Guide Toronto

Whether you love it or loathe it, New Year’s Eve is fast upon us. If you’re not jetsetting off to a fabulous ski vacation in Aspen or Whistler, or the beaches of the Caribbean, not to fear…there are some great options happening in Toronto for those staying local. So, how will you ring in 2013? Here are ten parties to suit a range of partying tastes.

NYE Casa Loma: Party at the Castle
It’s romantic, magical and resonates with “special occasion” far more than your typical club or restaurant. Last year, the New Year’s Eve party (presented by Plus 1 Entertainment) attracted a stylish and connected set of young professionals and this year will be no different. To ring in the new year in elegance and intrigue, Casa Loma offers partygoers a chance to step back in time to a period of European elegance and old world glam as the party takes over the entire first floor of the castle. F-Stop staple DJ M-Rock and DJ class!ck will spin hip-hop and house favourites. The dress code is semi-formal and doors open at 10:00pm. For those “bottle service only” guests, the venue offers 15 VIP booths. For VIP Booth inquiries, contact Patrycja at: info@plus-1.ca

Bloke and 4th New Year’s Eve
YP favourite restaurant of choice (not surprising when the coveted Food Dudes are behind the culinary offerings) come nightclub after 10, Bloke and 4th will be graced by some of the city’s most seasoned partygoers. Word of advice: for those on the older end of the YP age spectrum, this may not be the best option, as the venue does typically attract an under-30ish crowd. New Year’s tickets for Bloke & 4th are $120 for dinner and entry, or $60 for the party.
