10 Notable Spots to Watch the Habs Playoffs

It’s springtime in Montreal and that means two things: Flowers and PLAYOFF HOCKEY. Habs fans are hoping for a long playoff run and so are the many restaurant/bar/pub owners in the city. Here’s a list of 10 restaurants/bars/pubs where you need to watch the Montreal Canadiens.

1. CAGE AUX SPORTS (Bell Center):
This is the Mecca of sports restaurants in Quebec. The cage offers a great combo of atmosphere and food. All of the Cage locations are great but the one at the Bell Center is definitely a must-go, especially during home games. When the home team scores you get that extra echo of fans cheering inside the Cage. Also every home game has the Habs fan jam right in front of the cage. (If you plan to go here, you definitely need to arrive at least two hours in advance to get a good seat).

11: MBRGR

Yes we said 10 but we almost choked on our lunch when we realized we forgot to add this gem and go-to. This is for the serious hockey foodies! Indulge in kobe burgers, truffle macaroni and cheese and their famous chocolate chip cookie (to die for) while you catch the game on one of their many big screens. A lot of our Canadiens can be spotted here dining out so you know the place is legit. Make sure you say hi to Owner Jeff, one of the best hosts we have yet come across.

Have a safe and happy playoffs. GO HABS GO!
