Your Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is Going to Taste Even Better This Fall

For all the Instagram-worthy leaves, cozy sweaters, and a feast-filled Thanksgiving, few things define the fall as much as a beloved Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Many fellow young professionals wait all year to wrap their hands around the comforting (grande, non-fat) cup of goodness.

And this year, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is returning better than ever.

In response to customer feedback, the popular espresso-based autumn drink of choice has a new recipe that will use real pumpkin and no caramel colouring. Today, the company shared more details about what actually goes into the drink, offering a full ingredient list.

The change to the drink is a pretty big deal – the Pumpkin Spice Latte is Starbucks’ top-selling seasonal drink of all time. Last fall, the company made headlines (and surely some new Pumpkin Spice Latte fans) when it announced that it would release the drink earlier than it had in the past.

The full list of ingredients are now listed online, in a growing movement of big name chains to remove artificial ingredients from their menu and to be increasingly transparent when it comes to ingredients.

Whatever the case, the thought of sipping a warm one in a new fall jacket makes the looming end of summer just a little bit easier to swallow.
