‘Cause every young professionals dream-combo/worst nightmare has arrived.
Mercer’s, a dairy company in upstate NY (about two hours south of Kingston), has launched a line of wine-infused ice cream. What did they name the product, you ask? “Wine Ice Cream: The Ultimate Pairing”.
Nailed it.
Their infused ice cream comes in seven different flavours: Cherry Merlot, Chocolate Cabernet, Peach White Zinfandel, Port, Red Raspberry Chardonnay, Spiced, and Riesling.
And early feedback from consumers has indicated that most people prefer ALL OF THEM.
The tubs are 473mL and include 5% alcohol content, which means we’re about to discover a whole new kind of ice cream headache. So start working on your dessert wine jokes and you’re ‘No officer, I haven’t been drinking’ lines.
At the moment you can only get it direct from the Mercer’s store in upstate New York, but they claim that international availability is “coming soon”.
Which is obviously not soon enough.
