Why Shine On! is the Must-Attend Event of the Fall Charity Season

It’s that time of year again: get ready to get your shine on.

On Saturday, October 1, Project Sunshine Canada’s Young Patrons’ Circle is inviting guests to bust out their finest 1920s Gatsby gears for their 6th annual Shine On! event.

Toronto’s finest movers and shakers (and perhaps dancers – we’ll have to see who ‘shines bright like a diamond’ on the dance floor) will flock to The Burroughes to kick off the month with a party you can’t miss.

Perks include an open bar, a carefully curated selection of food, a candy bar, a silent auction, a photo booth (naturally), a beloved DJ and surprise entertainment.

And the best part is that it’s all for an amazing cause.

Project Sunshine is a non-profit organization that provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children living with medical challenges and their families. Funds raised at Shine On! support Project Sunshine Canada programming for children at 18 medical facilities across six provinces.

The younger generation of Project Sunshine involves the dynamic Project Sunshine Canada’s Young Patrons’ Circle. It’s comprised of 33 young professionals from Toronto.

Sponsored by Balachandran Law, Cidel Financial Group, and Wildeboer Dellelce LLP, the Shine On! Fundraiser is the party to kick off the fall charity event circuit.

The annual Shine On! fundraiser started in 2011 and to date has raised over $70,000 for Project Sunshine Canada.
