Biff’s Bistro
In the heart of downtown Toronto, this modern French bistro is the perfect mix of old-school charm and new-school style. While a meal at Biff’s is good any day of the week, they are really pulling out all the stops for their New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu. For $85, you get a choice of appetizer, main and dessert, and with delightfully decadent choices like black truffle pasta and smoked beef tenderloin, you really can’t go wrong.

Planta
Yorkville’s new plant-based spot Planta will be dishing up all of their herbivorous goodness this season. Their New Year’s Eve menu will feature Asian pear tartare, seared hearts of palm ‘scallops’ and a gourmet dessert platter hand-picked by Chef David Lee for $55/person, served family style. The next day, start the year off on a high note with Planta’s fully plant-based a la carte New Year’s Day brunch from 10:30am – 3:30pm.

Beaumont Kitchen
Oliver & Bonacini’s California-inspired spot, which has become a quick favourite with in-the-know shoppers thanks to its convenient Saks at Sherway Gardens location, is also serving up a mouthwatering prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve.

For $65, Beaumont Kitchen is dishing up offerings like yellowfin tuna tataki, crispy duck breast, and phyllo-wrapped cheesecake.

Bosk Restaurant
For a refined meal that’s a far cry from your traditional home-cooked turkey and stuffing, hit Bosk in the Shangri-La Hotel for some quality Asian-inspired cuisine. The hotspot is offering special menus for the holidays, including a New Year’s Eve dinner and a New Year’s Day brunch.

R&D Restaurant
This buzzy Chinatown establishment is a go-to destination for hungry young professionals, and there’s no doubt it’ll be just as popular for New Year’s Eve dinner.
