Montreal’s finest got a head start on the Rogers Cup festivities by celebrating two weeks ahead of the big event.

It was a pop-up party like no other that reimagined the tennis experience in a brand new, forward-thinking way.

On Thursday, July 7, National Bank transformed Stade Uniprix for Alt Court, an alternative tennis event with 500 participants including some of Montreal’s most recognizable faces.

The disruptive event was a multi-layered, unique experience, and combined music performances (by Ryan Hemsworth & Skylar Spence), art installations (by MASSIVart), and cocktails around a tennis theme.

In collaboration with SID LEE and VIBRANT, the Uniprix Stadium in Montreal was revamped with the help of MASSIVartBLVD, and Pénélope et Chloe’s innovative décor that lent to a futuristic atmosphere where guests were transported to a re-imagined world of tennis.

Tennis met art at this immersive party, which filled the stadium with interactive installations, and fun, Instagram-worthy features like video games, ping-pong tables, a GIF animation station, and a ball pit – you know, all the essentials.

Highlights included Rogers Cup ticket giveaways throughout the evening compliments of Tennis Canada, and gift bags featuring art made by MASSIVart artists.
