Negroni Week

Everyone’s favourite aperitif is getting its own week. Today until the 8th, more than a dozen Toronto bars will be mixing up their favorite Negroni variations. BarChef, La Carnita, Red Sauce, and The Harbord Room are just a few of the spots you can order a Negroni and see a portion of the price donated to a charity of the bar’s choosing. We love drinking – even more so when there’s a good cause behind every sip.
Dan Rather
Where: The Fairmont Royal York, 100 Front St. W.

Dan Rather’s going to talk about some things. And when one of the titans of American journalism does so, it’s pretty safe to say you should listen – especially when he’s calling out other journalists for their lack of guts. After his talk, he’ll sit down with Jian Ghomeshi for a conversation that discusses Rather’s life in reporting.
Tickets to this will be hard to come by.
Tequila
Where: Los Colibris
When: 6:00pm
Remember when we told you about Los Colibris, the hot new upscale Mexican restaurant on King West? Well, you should. Especially when they’re putting on tequila tasting with Arturo Lomeli, The Tequila Master, Owner, and Founder of Tequila Clase Azul. Mondays are always better with a little salt and lemon.
