Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.
Or in this case, the opinion of the Writers Guild of America, West. You see, they’ve just released a list of the 101 funniest screenplays ever written.
And while they got pretty weird at times (placing Shakespeare in Love on the list – albeit last – at all seems almost as strange as it winning Best Picture), overall it seems to include most of the films you think of when you think of funny movies, the bwith the top 25 simply being classic after classic.
