The Toronto Argos are back – and they’re almost unrecognizable.
With new management and a new home at the recently upgraded BMO Field, the Argos are the team to watch this summer.
Allow us to explain.
The Argos have a mission for Toronto: they’re introducing tailgating to the city. And in a major way.
Tailgating, of course, is the perfect excuse for day drinking, rowdier-than-normal behaviour, and wearing ridiculously over-the-top gear, should you so desire.
What’s not to love?
This is the first time that tailgating is coming to Toronto. Ever. Naturally, it’s a pretty big deal.
The Argos invite you to BYO-BBQ, have a meal with friends, and revel in the high-energy atmosphere that comes with the largest pre-game party in the country.
Don’t worry, you won’t have to dip into your summer music festival fund, either – beer will be on sale for just $4.
Your game day ticket (which starts as low as $20) gives you access to the tailgate, while a pre-purchased tailgate parking spot is sold on the Argos Website for $30 at Ontario Place, and $35 at Exhibition Place.
Making Argos games even better, tailgating will be a feature at every home game this season.
It all goes down starting June 23 as the Argos host their provincial rival, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Secure your tickets here and see you at the tailgate.
