Now in its fourth year, Terrazza di Peroni has become a highly anticipated summer soirée for young professionals in the know. The alfresco event brings together a stylish crowd, inspiring art, and an endless supply of Peroni’s signature green bottles. We had a blast at last year’s event at Gastown’s Secret Location, and this year did not disappoint.
Terrazza di Peroni kept things fresh for their return with a unique new location. This year guests were invited to the Waterfall Building in False Creek, a stunning indoor/outdoor space that comes alive with modern geometric architecture and dramatic water features. White umbrellas and patio loungers made for a sophisticated garden party vibe in the summer heat. As the sun set, lanterns and string lights warmed the space as the party got into full swing.
Mixing and mingling aside, the event is also an opportunity to showcase the unique Peroni Art Series cultivated by a clutch of talented Canadian artists. Nine luminaries were sent to Italy where they brought back a single snapshot that captured their experience, and the photo was then interpreted by an emerging Canadian artist in an original art piece.
Guests of this prestigous gathering had the chance to view the collection displayed in the Waterfall Building’s Louvre-like gallery, as well as enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of their makers.
