Smoke’s, the fine people behind 30-plus Poutineries across Canada and three US states, is bringing you the next installment in their empire: Smoke’s Burritorie.
That’s right; the people that brought you the Triple Pork Poutine, The Perogie Poutine and the Chili Cheesesteak Poutine will now be making you burritos.
Thankfully, this is opening at the end of summer.
The first location will start shelling out the goods on Monday, September 14th at 218 Adelaide Street West. To celebrate the grand opening, they will be selling their signature burritos for $1 – yes, a single dollar – all day; Pollo Diablo, El Gran Toro, and Chorizo Bravo will be amongst the many bangs for your buck.
And as if that’s not good enough, all the money made on Monday will go straight to charity. Specifically, your burridonation will help support Jasper, a once-neglected donkey now being protected and cared for at The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada.
That Jasper is one lucky jackass. Definitely luckier than the jackass who blows his chance to get a $1 burrito. Or many, many $1 burritos.
