Start practising your poker face because this year’s annual VIP event supporting the Reena Foundation is a good ol’ cards tournament. Since 1973, the Reena Foundation has been providing support to people with developmental disabilities living in the York region. They rely on the support of generous donations and the success of their annual events in order to continue doing their good work. This event is being organized by the Reena New Leadership, a group of young professionals who volunteer their time for the Reena Foundation. Included in the individual ticket price is dinner and a drink, but consider rounding up a few friends or co-workers so you can play with people whose bluffs you are less likely to believe. All the proceeds from the Reena VIP poker tournament will go to the endowment fund, providing monies that support programming for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
