Now Open: Wilfred on Robson Street

Adjoined to the Aritizia Robson, you’ll now find their much-loved house label Wilfred with a space of its very own.

And it’s a beautiful one at that.

As of Saturday, doors to the new Robson Street location are now open to the public.

The detail that has gone into the overall design is evident even from the first glimpse of the exterior windows. And while no two Aritiza, TNA, or Wilfred stores are exactly alike – this newest addition is a cultural beauty.

We admired the elements of antique brass and steel that managed to mix well with the more natural palette on the walls, resulting in a strong feminine quality.

The inspiration? Loft spaces.

Plants are suspended from the ceiling skylights as well. Indeed, there is tons of greenery throughout the store, helping to connect it back to its west coast origins.

From local artwork to furniture, final touches to playlists – every aspect of the ambience has been specifically curated.

For the busy young professional, or the guy that doesn’t know what to get, personal shopping appointments can be set up for some time-saving style guidance. Longer hours for the street-front store make life a little easier too – you can shop earlier or later without crowds.

Under the Wilfred label, designed in-house by Tenille Magnuson, you’ll also find Wilfred Free, a newer, more contemporary – yet still – urban addition, as well as Le Fou, which releases a limited capsule collection just twice a year.

Vancouver women will be sure to appreciate the newest extension of Aritzia on the block. And with Christmas right around the corner, we expect Wilfred to be under a lot of trees.
