Nike Transformed a TTC Streetcar into a Moving Sneaker Store

All aboard the SNKRS XPRESS!

In honour of our city’s love of both basketball and sneakers, Nike and the Jordan Brand have transformed a TTC streetcar into a sneaker boutique for Nike+ members during the NBA All-Star weekend.

The sneaker streetcar will be set loose on the city streets from Feb 11-14th.

Nike says the SNKRS XPRESS station will be located at 277 Queen St. W. And those looking to catch a ride on this souped-up street car can book a spot, with services running  from 10am to 8pm.

On board there will be a selection of footwear including the Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit, Air Jordan XXX, Jordan Cement IV, Kobe 11 Royalty, and several surprise sneaker drops.

In addition to Toronto, SNKRS XPRESS Stations will also pop-up in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

But if you can’t score a spot, make sure to check out Toronto’s new Jordan store (opening this week) located at 306 Yonge St., as Jordan members can access body tracking and ball control technology and a VIP lounge offering customization, personal shopping, barber services and product reservations during the All-Star weekend.
