Dust off your dancing shoes, put your game face on, and head downtown – Macklemore and Ryan Lewis want to see you dance.
The hip-hop duo is turning to the West Coast to find some talent for their upcoming music video, which is set to film at the end of April.
There will be open call auditions this Friday, April 1 (2:30pm-5pm) at Harbour Dance Centre (927 Granville Street), for which we suggest hitting up one of the many thrift shops downtown to find something to wear.
The Seattle-based duo said they’re looking for dancers of all shapes, sizes, and skill levels. But if you can’t tell your left foot from your right and lack any sort of rhythm, the pair said they’re also looking for “people with other amazing talents like acrobatics, circus acts, martial arts, stunts, and other athletic talents.”
The Vancouver stop is the first of two auditions Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will be hosting, with a second audition taking place in Seattle on April 10th.
All you need to bring is a completed registration form, bio/resume, and headshot.
