Jimmy Kimmel Makes People Believe the Original 2007 iPhone is the New iPhone 6S

Making an ass of the general public is one of Jimmy Kimmel’s greatest ongoing schticks.

Sure, Hollywood Boulevard doesn’t harbour the finest sample of society’s brain capacity, but watching people pretend to know things on camera is always good for a laugh – especially when it concerns followers of the cult of Apple.

Kimmel’s team recently hit the streets to find out what people thought about the unreleased iPhone 6S by letting them test it out. The catch? They were actually given Apple’s original iPhone, first released in 2007.

Obviously, no one seemed to notice. The camera, processing speed, and resolution – all significantly inferior eight years ago – of the device were all praised, and one person even exclaimed, “Apple, you’ve done it again.”

Indeed.
