Inside Celebrity Designer Nate Berkus’ Manhattan Penthouse

Attention uber rich: there’s a stylish new pad up for sale in Manhattan that comes complete with the vision of a famous design team behind it.

Celebrity designers Nate Berkus (who shot to fame with a little help from Oprah) and his partner Jeremiah Brent have listed their duplex penthouse in Greenwich Village for $10.5 million, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Located on the 14th and 15th floors of a prewar co-op building, the recently renovated 2,800-square-foot penthouse has three-bedrooms, a wrap-around terrace, a solarium-style kitchen window, three wood-burning fireplaces, and a massive walk-in closet that’s probably bigger than your entire condo.

The couple purchased the building’s penthouse and an adjacent one-bedroom for $6 million in 2013 before combining units and embarking on a massive gut renovation and design project.

Of course, the biggest question many would have is whether the furniture is included in the asking price. The bad news: it isn’t. The good news: some pieces may be available for purchase.

The couple, recent parents to a baby daughter named Poppy, are set to relocate to LA and have purchased a four-bedroom, five-bath 1920s Spanish Revival-style home for $2.36 million.

If the home doesn’t sell soon, they could always take the approach of this Newfoundland family, who has turned to Facebook to sell their home, complete with a cash reward.

They may need to up the reward, though. This is New York, after all.
