Calgary Stampede Chuckwagon Breakfast

If you’ve ever wanted to see what 1050 gallons of pancake batter looks like, head on down to the annual Calgary Stampede Chuckwagon Breakfast. Every day of the Stampede, (except Parade Day and the two Sundays) Olympic Plaza will be the place to stuff your face with bacon and pancakes. The Stampede will feed over 30,000 visitors in the process and use a whopping amount of pancake batter and bacon. If you can’t make it to the official breakfast, there are loads of other free pancake breakfasts around Calgary. The Stampede has even put out a handy web and iPhone app to help you find the one closest to you on the day you want to go. So either head down to the Chuckwagon Breakfast, or check out the Flapjack Finder to get yourself some yummy pancakes.
