Black Moon Bar & Lounge Opens Doors in Toronto

Tucked away on Richmond Street in Toronto is the newly-opened Black Moon Bar & Lounge. All black and all class – and so sleek it could kill – the resto was impeccably designed under the direction of Canadian interior wunderkind Sasha Josipovicz, who was recently recognized by PETA for using only cruelty-free materials. (There’s even a chandelier light fixture that looks like a giant black widow spider). Black Moon’s menu is also A-list. Created by exec chef Kai Zyagniuk (worked at The Spoke Club and was lead at Cucina), there’s a fusion of local and seasonal tastes with a strong French influence. You’ll find a delicious selection of plates like Ontario lamb & beef brisket mini burgers, pan seared scallops and ahi tuna ceviche in watermelon and green chili lime juice – all designed for sharing. Sure, the area might be for the financial crowd, but young professionals from all over will flock to rule this one. For more: Black Moon Bar & Lounge.
