Alexander McQueen’s London Pad Could Be Yours For $10.5 Million

If you’re in the market for some prime London real estate, have $10.5 million laying around, and are a fan of the late great Alexander McQueen, the famed designer’s former London penthouse just hit the market.

Not surprisingly, the home is just as stylish as his game-changing designs.

Located near London’s posh Mayfair area, the two-bedroom penthouse occupies the top two floors of a residential building and is a former royal residence for Alexander Mountbatten, the grandson of Queen Victoria.

The home was refurbished over a 16-month time period to honour the tastes of McQueen and given an interior design overhaul, complete with a colour palette rich with greys, silvers, and creams.

Nods to the fashion legend include a “fashion catwalk” lined with mirrors and photos of McQueen’s fashion shows and a wall in the dining room that features a gallery full of images of his clothing and his muses, along with portraits of the designer himself.

Naturally, his iconic skull motifs also make an appearance and are incorporated into wall mirrors.

Other notable talking points include gorgeous chandeliers and mirror accents throughout, an airy kitchen with an island with a breakfast bar, a master bedroom with a sprawling en suite bath and a second bedroom with a large dressing room (naturally).

One of the best parts of the space is access to a private roof deck via a spiral staircase with panoramic views of London’s West End.
