This reimagined Torteria is a unique Mexican experience, setting itself apart from the vast options of tacos and burritos in St-Henri. Lupita recently opened with a master chef behind the scenes, Sandra Soto, ex-Olive & Gourmando and sister of Victor from Tacos Victor. You’ll fall in love with their affordable options of tortas, deep-fried flautas, salads, and an authentic Mexican corn on the cob. We loved the colourful decor and casual ambiance along with their lovely cooks and servers.
La Habanera
This vibrant Cuban spot in the middle of the city will transport you to the Caribbean as soon as you step inside.
La Habanera brings a great tropical concept to downtown Montreal with a menu packed full of exceptional flavours, including classics like Bao Cubano, piña´ribs, moros, mouth-watering ceviches, and plenty of plantains and avocados. What happens when a perfect steamed pork bun meets an impeccable minimalist spot? Hao comes to life. This stunning counter-style restaurant located in the heart of Plateau-Mont Royal is serving a simple but on-point menu of steamed buns à la Momofuku style.
With three delicate lunch items, Hao serves perfect pork and veggie buns and a fresh, super-savoury cucumber salad. Looking for spring rolls and some noodles instead? Just hit their special after-hours menu on Wednesdays after 6pm.

With a charming decor inspired by Russ & Daughters, Arthurs brings a Canadian-Jewish menu to Montreal. You can share these small plates and enjoy classics like Matzah soup, potato latkes, perogies and lots of smoked fish.
